The Claim-Rated Scale
Each year that you operate a vehicle without an at-fault crash, you discount will increase by one level on the Claim-Rated Scale. This also provides that motorists who cause accidents will have an increased cost of insurance.
Anti-Theft Device Discount
If you have Comprehensive and Specified Perils insurance, you will receive an extra discount if your vehicle is equipped with a passive electronic immobilizer (an anti-theft device that automatically cuts off power to your vehicle’s fuel, starter, or ignition system.)
Ten-Year Discount
Certain rate classes, like pleasure-use, to/from work, and business use, offer an additional discount if all drivers of the vehicle have held a valid drivers licence for at least ten years.
