Michael Hogg, BBA, CGA
Nominee, Level 3
Michael has been the owner of Wightman & Smith Insurance since 2002. Michael came to Wightman & Smith with 12 years business experience.
He worked with ICBC in Victoria where he was a Senior Accountant in the Motor Vehicle Branch. Prior to ICBC, Michael was a Senior Accountant at Skeena Cellulose in Terrace, and a Financial Accountant with the non-profit group, Muks-Kum-Ol Housing Society of Terrace.

Tammy Hollefuer, CAIB
General Agent, Level 2
Tammy has been with Wightman & Smith Insurance since April of 1984. With 25 years of experince, her expertise with our personal lines for homeowners, tenants, condominium and mobile home insurance is outstanding. She believes in a hands-on approach to insurance and doesn’t mind getting her hands dirty! She has lived in Terrace since 1973 so knows the area and recognizes our unique insurance needs here in the Northwest.
She currently lives at Lakelse Lake with her husband and son. She enjoys her weekends with her family, exploring the area around Terrace. tholleufer@terraceinsurance.com
Heather Hansen
General Agent, Level 1
Heather has been with Wightman & Smith Insurance since March 2004. She likes the challenge of insurance and is continuously gaining knowledge. Heather is working with Michael for all your commercial insurance needs.
Heather has completed more than half of the courses need for the CIP – Chartered Insurance Professional designation! Congratulations Heather!

Laurie Barry
General Agent, Level 1
Laurie has been a part of the Wightman & Smith team since March of 2007 and enjoys the ongoing challenges of the Insurance industry. She is eager to help you with any and all of your insurance needs whether it be Auto, Homeowner’s, Mobile Home, or your recreation vehicles. Being born and raised in Terrace, she loves the social aspect of working in a busy office seeing old friends and making new ones. Laurie spends the majority of her free time in the bleachers cheering for her basketball crazy son Kenneth and also loves the time she gets with her husband enjoying this beautiful area together.
Kelly Miller
General Agent, Level 1
Kelly is our ICBC expert.
Kelly is fully licensed to provide you with advise on your home insurance, mobile homes and recreation vehilces including ATV’s snowmachines & boats.

Andrew Johnstone
General Agent, Level 1
Andrew is able to assist you with your home, vehilce, mobile home or RV insurance.
Andrew enjoys the outdoors, teaching martial arts and is an excellent trumpet player! You will catch him playing with the Terrace Community Band. You will also see him scaling mountains using his rock climbing gear. ajohnstone@terraceinsurance.com
Lori Seller
General Agent, Level 1
Lori enjoys the interesting world of insurance and is currently working on her CAIB2 (Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker) program. Lori is also working with Michael learning about the commercial side of the business. She will be happy to help you with all your insurance needs. In her leisure time Lori enjoys the outdoors, especially fishing.
Nicole Gorman
General Insurance, Trainee
Nicole has recently joined our team at Wightman and Smith and is excited to learn about the insurance industry. Currently Nicole can assist you with your ICBC questions and transactions. Nicole is also working hard to finish her Fundamentals of Insurance course to become a level 1 insurance agent.
Knute Olson
General Agent, Level I
Knute started working at Braid Insurance Agencies in March of 2004. With 7 years of experience he has a solid knowledge of ICBC processes and transaction procedures. He is excited about the merger of our two companies and looks forward to meeting our clientele as well as introducing client’s from Braid Insurance to our helpful staff.
Being a lifelong resident of Terrace, he enjoys the great outdoor activities that our area has to offer and can often be found hiking local trails and mountains with his camera, looking for another great shot!

Shayne Braid
Shayne started working in the Insurance industry in 1989 working for and then taking over the family business, Braid Insurance Agencies Ltd. He enjoyed the many challenges and rewards of running an office. He especially enjoyed the clients that he has worked with over the last 21 years.
The highlight of Shayne’s career to date would be working the past 7 years with Knute Olson the previous Manager of their family business.
Recently Shayne sold his Insurance office to Michael and would like to welcome his family, friends, and clients, to the Wightman & Smith office.
He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, coaching Soccer, and playing Hockey.
