Michael Hogg, BBA, CGA
Nominee, Level 3
Michael has been the owner of Wightman & Smith Insurance since 2002. Michael came to Wightman & Smith with 12 years business experience.
He worked with ICBC in Victoria where he was a Senior Accountant in the Motor Vehicle Branch. Prior to ICBC, Michael was a Senior Accountant at Skeena Cellulose in Terrace for two years, and a Financial Accountant with the non-profit group, Muks-Kum-Ol Housing Society of Terrace.
Michael enjoys fishing (a lot!), jogging and spending time with his family.
Tammy Hollefuer, CAIB
General Agent, Level 2
Tammy has been with Wightman & Smith Insurance since April of 1984. With 25 years of experince, her expertise with our personal lines for homeowners, tenants, condominium and mobile home insurance is outstanding. She believes in a hands-on approach to insurance and doesn’t mind getting her hands dirty! She has lived in Terrace since 1973 so knows the area and recognizes our unique insurance needs here in the Northwest.
She currently lives at Lakelse Lake with her husband and son. She enjoys her weekends with her family, exploring the area around Terrace.
Dawn Lane, CAIB
General Agent, Level 2
Dawn has been with Wightman & Smith Insurance Agencies Ltd. since September 22, 1997. Dawn works with Michael to provide our commercial insurance clients with prompt, friendly and experienced service for their commercial insurance needs.
All of our employees participate in ongoing education. Dawn completed her CAIB – Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker designation in 2001. Since then she has been taking a variety of commercial insurance courses and is working on the CIP- Chartered Insurance Professional designation.
Dawn has two beautiful daughters and enjoys spending time with her girls and husband. As super-woman she doesn’t have much time for hobbies but she does enjoy reading when she has a few minutes to herself.
Heather Hansen
General Agent, Level 1
Heather has been with Wightman & Smith Insurance since March 2004. She likes the challenge of insurance and is continuously gaining knowledge in ICBC and Personal Lines. Heather also does the accounting.
Heather has completed half of the courses need for the CIP – Chartered Insurance Professional designation! Congratulations Heather!
She enjoys hot summer days, camping, NASCAR racing and spending time with her family & friends.
Laurie Barry
General Agent, Level 1
Laurie enjoys doing ICBC Autoplan transactions and house insurance policies. She loves the social aspect of working in a busy office.
Laurie was born and raised in Terrace. She enjoys the outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
Kelly Miller
General Agent, Level 1
Kelly is quickly becoming our ICBC expert.
Kelly is fully licensed to provide you with advise on your home insurance, mobile homes and recreation vehilces including ATV’s snowmachines & boats.
Kelly enjoys any outdoor activities, spending time with family and friends. You will often find Kelly out walking her dog.
Andrew Johnstone
General Agent, Level 1
Andrew is fully licensed and is able to assist you with your home, vehilce, mobile home or RV insurance.
Andrew enjoys the outdoors, teaching martial arts and is an excellent trumpet player! You will catch him playing with the Terrace Community Band. You will also see him scaling mountains using his rock climbing gear.
Lori Seller
General Agent, Level 1
Lori is excited about the interesting world of insurance and is looking forward to learning more about RV, mobile home and house insurance. Lori is happy to renew your auto insurance for you!
Lori has also taken over the accounting duties when Heather is on maternity leave.
Lori enjoys the outdoors, especially fishing.

Doug is officially retired! You will find Captain Doug on his boat or enjoying life at the lake.
