How do I best determine a value for antiques, collectibles and fine arts? Due to the rare and unique nature of these items, we recommend taking photos, keep bills of sale, writing down descriptions (including artist, size and unique features). An appraisal however is the most accurate way of determining an accurate value of your property. Keep a copy of your appraisal, description or photos in a safe place, such as a safety deposit box or let us put them in your file at our office.
