Considering purchasing vehicle insurance from a direct writer (like CDI)? Bear in mind that with this type of insurer, that while you may save on premium dollar, you do so at a cost. You are foregoing the benefit of us; yes there is value in having a broker.
We are highly trained in all aspects of insurance including Autoplan of course, and we give you face-to-face advice when you visit our office. And if you do have a claim, you don’t have your broker as an advocate, and you don’t have the benefit of visiting a claim centre, as your claim would not be handled by ICBC.
